WEEK 7 BLOG 1
It's approaching the end of this fantastic project, and I'm getting a little sad. We've finally completed the editing process. Every clip was trimmed and outside noises were deleted. We spent so much time editing because, as I previously indicated, we are not competent enough at this stage. Our entire film has been edited, and we are very excited to watch the final product. While editing the video, we noticed that about 5 seconds were captured in a poor quality, so my partner and I got down and discussed whether we wanted to keep or delete that section. It has certain benefits and drawbacks. An advantage was that it would improve our film, but a disadvantage was that we would not have enough time if we deleted that video, and it would cut some backstory from the film, which could confuse viewers. After all, we chose to repair the clip. We did our best to reduce those seconds to three, and it looked much nicer and performed well. We're almost finished with our video. A few minor tweaks and we'll be good to go.
In the coming blogs, I'll begin to compile research data. Because it is a vital aspect of the process, I am referring to Creative Critical Reflection. I'll start working on it tomorrow and the next day. To be honest, I believe that writing the Critical Reflection will be the most difficult part of the blogs.
